I actually can appreciate and enjoy a great number of different genre. But I lean towards romantic songs - be they pop, rock, blues, etc...

'The Doctor' is in

It's been 60 years... Six decades back, when the world was introduced - via a BBC black and white TV program, where an unassuming, cranky even, old man was introduced as an enigmatic figure called the Doctor. He's actually an alien, and despite his seeming scowl, is actually oen fo the 'good guys'. He helps people in trouble (usually Earthlings) against otehr aliens. Serving as the world's protector. We later learn that he's a Galafrean; is 900 years old; has two hearts (biologically speaking); and prefers using his (later her) intellect and wits as opposed to using violent means to resort to solving conflicts or problems. He's seen as an outcast by his own race - thinking rather out of the box, so they obviously don't all think like him. He travels in a TARDIS (which mens Time And Relative Dimension In Space) which looks like your standard blue police box from the outside (a look that can actually change, by the way - as the TARDIS can disguise it...

Twinborn Chronicles - my new and current audiobooks listening pleasure

There are a few modern SciFi or Fantasy genre worth following. Rarer still, is one that somehow combines the two. J.S. Morin is one of the latter writers who gets to combine these worlds in an entertaining maner. With his Twinborn Chroicles, he is able to weave a story where worlds are traversed, at first by magic and mastery of runes; then later, by Science-backed mechanial engines that are at first, fully steampunk energized - but later, with the help of said runes as well, made o run r perform even better. So we are now seeing how two worlds are beginning to traverse and affect each other - sometimes, with hilarious results. I initially was confused as a reader (or in this case, a listener), jumping from one charater to another - wondering how one character seemed to be sharing experiences through their dreams. How Kairus Hinterdale - a letterer, and someone far from being an adventurer, wondering why he had dreams of a Knight named Branis, in the middle of a struggle to navigae ...

Top Avengers covers between 1 - 99 (part 1)

I'll admit to being inspired by Justin Carmona's article on comicsbulletin.com wherein he came up with his Top 10 Avengers covers - some of which I liked, others I beg to differ with. But rather than complain, I decided ot come up with my own Top 10... however, I found myself liking a lot of covers, that I've decided to come up with my favorites in groupings first. Therefore, I'll have several write-ups about these covers - maybe up to 5, to say the least; assuming there would be a coverage of my choices from 100 covers every article until we reach the fairly recent ones.
