Any place that is relatively quiet - with relaxing piped-in music, serves chilled beer and great finger food. Unfortunately, I still have not found it yet.
I also like the idea of Cheers - a place where everyone knows each other, which means there's a regular hang out crowd where people meet and talk. I used to have such a place to go to. where the bar tender knows your usual and where I would wait to meet drinking buddies. Barbara's in the 5th floor of the Trafalgar Plaza... long time ago.
I've not had the luck of finding a new place like that yet.
