I'm at that age where most people need glasses to get to read certain things; things like fine prints in medicine labels... the one's they really make hard to read - or your everyday paperback novel. Naturally, I do need my glasses to get to read certain stuff, and it really is a frustrating thing when I want to read certain things - only to realize I left my glasses somewhere.
Case in point, I wanted to catch up on my reading a certain book I had brought with me - alas, I apparently left my glasses at home... in my rush to get to where I had to go, it was on the top shelf of our computer table, but with so many things to being along, I simply forgot to take it. Guess vision isn't the only thing that gets rusty as we age, huh?
Lucky for me, the boo I had had somewhat visible texts even without my glasses (it was a hardbound book which has relatively larger texts than your paperbacks) and could read the writing, so long as I held it at arms length from my face. Still, had this been a comic book - I would be sunk... and would have to wait when I got home to don my glasses and read.
Ah well... such is life. Lucky for me, text size can be adjusted in blog sites - I need no glasses as I type this out.
